TSG Hoffenheim vs. Bayer Leverkusen: Player Ratings
TSG Hoffenheim
Oliver Baumann (6/10)
Had a busy night but made few major mistakes. His distribution was solid enough, but the defense allowed him to be put in some difficult situations.
Stefan Posch (5/10)
Caught out from a Leverkusen set-piece and did not look convincing on the whole. The back three often looked fragile, even against a Leverkusen team that was not at their best.
Kevin Vogt (4/10)
Looked rusty after his recent injury and was not as assured as he can be. Made a few errors that allowed Leverkusen into the game.
Ermin Bicakcic (4/10)
Had a decent start but faded as the game moved on. Was outmuscled and outpassed for the visitors' second goal.
AngeliƱo (6/10)
Always looking to be inventive but did not make the most of his opportunities to get crosses in. Still, his energy and willingness to run were noticeable.
Dennis Geiger (5/10)
Had a difficult task against Leverkusen's midfield and was unable to provide a platform for Hoffenheim to build from.
Diadie Samassekou (5/10)

Andrej Kramaric (5/10)
Never really got into the game and was often isolated up front. Hoffenheim were unable to give him support.
David Raum (6/10)
Always a threat with his pace and trickery, but he failed to provide the decisive cross that could have changed the game.

Odilon Kossounou (6/10)
Solid performance at the back and made some timely interventions. Was not troubled too often by Hoffenheim's attack.

One of Leverkusen's best players on the night. Was constantly involved in the game and created some excellent chances for his teammates.
Florian Wirtz (7/10)
Another standout performer for Leverkusen. His skill and creativity caused Hoffenheim all sorts of problems. Was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet.

Was a constant threat to Hoffenheim with his pace and skill, but his finishing was not as clinical as it could have been.
